You have a superpower — turns out you had it all along! Meet Louis Gravance

Brands, like (Disney) Apple and Google...have power because they have cultures that people want to join - they create narratives that people want to become co-stars in their 'movie'. Understanding how your brand story creates a narrative that customers want to engage in is Louie Gravance's speciality.

Storymaven Takeaways

  • “You always had it in you Dorothy.” You’ve always had a brand, even when your brand was joined with a larger brand when you were or are an employee at a company. In this new era you need to be aware of and access your personal brand story.

  • See yourself through the eyes of those who value your work. Reconnect with people and institutions where you have been successful.

  • How do people (customers) feel because of what service I offer? What is it that I bring people through my company and service?

  • Use the wheel of Story, Language, Behavior, Recognition to create a path to customer service and brand excellence.

  • Understand the difference between job and task. Your job is who you are, what impact you have while your task is what you are doing whether typing data or making pizza.

  • Marry the product with a story and you have the difference between a wand and a stick.
